About me

Lohan is an African American six grader who lives with his parents and sister in Columbus, Ohio. He loves writing comics and stories that he shares with his friends and family. No matter where he goes, his imagination is wildly spinning.

The Adventure to NEW MARINERS is his debut book.

“How I Started Writing”

I was in first grade when my teacher that year had given my class an assignment to create a story character and make a story about them. During that, I had decided to make a character based on two things. My favorite animal and my birth month. That’s how I created my first character, May Cat. At the time, I wasn’t very good at writing, so when my teacher called the people who made the best characters, I wasn’t called up.

Luckily, that didn’t discourage me at all. I kept making comic books about May Cat, and I eventually started my own comic series about him. I didn’t like putting words in my books, so the only things you’d read were pictures. After a while, I started making other stories and characters, like Cat Cop, Ghostly, Power Pumpkin, and even stories about me and my friends. It wasn’t too long until my entire school knew me as a writer.
